Terms of service

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the twinvoice platform, including the website at twinvoice.io, the web application at app.twinvoice.io, and all related AI voice coaching services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Amariyo, a company registered in the Netherlands.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to the twinvoice website, web application, and all related services.
  • "Trainer" refers to a user who creates AI voice agents, manages courses, and invites students.
  • "Organisation" refers to a company or team that purchases access for its members.
  • "Student" refers to a user who accesses AI voice coaching sessions through a trainer's or organisation's invitation, or through the marketplace.
  • "Agent" refers to an AI voice coaching agent created on the platform.
  • "Voice clone" refers to a digital voice model created from audio samples uploaded by a trainer.
  • "Minutes" refers to the unit of usage for voice coaching sessions, measured in time.

Account registration

To use the platform, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it up to date. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are a trainer or organisation administrator granting access to participants under 16, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary parental or guardian consent.

Free trial and paid plans

Twinvoice offers a free trial period for new accounts. During the trial, you receive a limited number of practice minutes to test the platform. After the trial period, continued use requires a paid subscription or the purchase of additional minutes.

Pricing, plan details, and included features are described on our pricing page at twinvoice.io/pricing. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

Payments and billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a subscription or minute package, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected). You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@twinvoice.io within 14 days.

Minutes and usage

Minutes are the unit of measurement for voice coaching sessions. Minutes are allocated through welcome balances, invite codes, admin allocations, subscriptions, or direct purchases. Minutes are non-transferable between accounts unless explicitly enabled by a trainer or organisation administrator. Unused minutes on paid plans carry over for the duration of the subscription. If your subscription is cancelled or expires, any remaining minutes are retained for 90 days. After 90 days, unused minutes may expire.

Usage is tracked via our webhook system, which serves as the single source of truth for balance calculations. Session duration is measured from the moment a voice connection is established until the session ends.

Voice cloning

Trainers may choose to clone their voice for use in AI coaching agents. By uploading audio samples for voice cloning, you confirm that:

  • The voice in the audio samples is your own, or you have explicit written permission from the voice owner to clone their voice for this purpose.
  • You understand that the cloned voice will be used to generate AI speech in coaching sessions accessible to your students.
  • You are responsible for informing any third party whose voice you clone about how their voice will be used.

You retain ownership of your voice data. You can request deletion of your voice model and audio samples at any time by contacting us at support@twinvoice.io. Upon deletion, the voice model will be removed from both twinvoice and ElevenLabs systems.

Twinvoice will not use your voice data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you. We will not license, sell, or share your voice model with other users or third parties without your explicit consent.

Content and intellectual property

Your content. You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to the platform, including system prompts, knowledge base documents, course structures, and any methodology you encode into your AI agents. Twinvoice does not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

Trainer methodology. The coaching methodology, scenarios, system prompts, and knowledge bases that trainers create remain the intellectual property of the trainer. Twinvoice provides the platform and infrastructure but does not claim ownership of the training content created by its users.

Student data. Session transcripts and usage data generated by students are accessible to both the student and the trainer (or organisation) who created the agent. Trainers may use anonymised, aggregated session data to improve their training programmes.

Platform content. The twinvoice platform, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Amariyo. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the platform without our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Clone the voice of another person without their explicit consent.
  • Use AI agents to deceive people into believing they are communicating with a human when they are not.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts, data, or the platform's infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
  • Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Resell access to the platform without a written agreement with Amariyo.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Availability and support

We aim to provide a reliable and available platform, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance.

Support is available via the in-app support feature and at support@twinvoice.io. We aim to respond to support requests within 2 business days.

Third-party services

The platform relies on third-party services including ElevenLabs (voice AI), Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Plausible (analytics). Your use of the platform is also subject to the terms and policies of these providers. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services, though we make reasonable efforts to select reliable and privacy-respecting partners.

AI services and content disclaimer

The AI voice coaching features of the platform are powered by third-party artificial intelligence services, including ElevenLabs for voice processing and large language model providers for response generation. These services may experience latency, reduced quality, downtime, or degraded performance due to factors outside our control, including but not limited to high demand, provider outages, network conditions, and model updates by the AI provider. We do not guarantee specific response times, voice quality levels, or uninterrupted availability of AI features.

AI-generated responses are produced algorithmically and may contain inaccuracies, inappropriate content, or responses that do not align with the intended coaching methodology. Twinvoice does not review, approve, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content.

Trainers and organisations are responsible for the configuration of their AI agents, including system prompts, knowledge base content, conversation flows, and safety guardrails. Twinvoice provides the tools for agent creation but does not validate or endorse the coaching methodology, scenarios, or instructions configured by trainers. Any harm, loss, or dissatisfaction arising from the content or behaviour of a trainer-configured AI agent is the responsibility of the trainer or organisation that created it, not of twinvoice.

Users should not rely on AI voice coaching as a substitute for professional advice in any field, including but not limited to medical, psychological, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law:

  • Twinvoice is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from AI-generated content, including coaching responses, feedback, or voice output. AI voice coaching is not a substitute for professional advice in any field, including but not limited to medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

Termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting us at support@twinvoice.io. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy. You may request a copy of your data before account closure.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify account holders by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
